Yiwu releases standard for eco-seamless garment

It is learned from Zhejiang Yiwu Seamless Wearing Industry Association that the Standard for Ecoseamless Garment namely the seamless wearing industry alliance standard was issued recently and this standard will mainly apply to underwear manufacturing.

The eco-seamless garment is made of environment-friendly materials and in the process of production, the parts for neck, waist and hips, etc., are without seam, formed in the-skin products and decorative materials.

There are more than 150 seamless wearing enterprises in Yiwu China and they have over 6 billion Yuan in industry scale. Eight of them have annual sales volume of over 100 million Yuan. Because of its newness, the seamless industry now manufactures mainly according to two standards. One is FZ/T73D19.1-2004 Standard for Knitting Elastic Body Sculpting Underwear Model, and the other is GB18401-2003 Safety Technical Code for Textiles.
